Board of Victory Valley Camp

It has been an exciting year at Victory Valley Camp. We give thanks to God for the way He has used both full-time and summer staff as instruments of His love to touch and change the lives of 716 future parents and leaders of our church, community, and world. Fifty-three campers made professions of faith, and thirty campers committed themselves to a greater level of obedience to and love for God.

Our long-time Executive Director, Phil Atkins, has moved on toward another level in his ministry career. As Phil and his family have faithfully served Victory Valley Camp for over eighteen years, the camp has experienced improved facilities and new programs. We wish Phil and his family success as he pursues the next chapter of his life.

The Board of Directors is seeking God’s direction as they search for an individual who will provide vision, leadership, and growth for this ministry that has served the Bible Fellowship churches for nearly half a century. We continue to praise the Lord for the stability provided by the three remaining full-time staff at the camp. Donna Bauer/Program Director, John Masters/Facilities Manager, and JoAnna Walker/Registrar and Bookkeeper continue to operate the camp efficiently during this transition and preparation for the 2004 camp season.

Under Donna’s direction, dynamic new plans and changes in program are being made for the 2004 summer camping season. Some of these changes are: a Bible Fellowship Church Teen Camp, 3-day and 2-day trips for Venture Quest, 4 weeks of Day Camp, and Mini-Camps for children’s camp and Outpost.
