Report of the

Ministerial Candidate Committee

              The Ministerial Candidate Committee met eight times since the last meeting of Annual Conference.

              The following men were interviewed: Kenneth J. Hurst, Ebrane' Cadet, Jeffrey L. Ruhl, Darryl B. Forsythe, Mark L. Morrison, William J. Lehr, Jr., Kevin K. Gehman, Jonathon W. Arnold, Ronald K. Denlinger, Donald R. Hibbs, Richard A. Moyer, Jason R. Beisell, and William J. Dunn.

              The following were approved as probationers eligible to receive a call: Willis I. Dowling, Charles E. Cole, Thomas A. Pollock, Kenneth J. Hurst, Mark L. Morrison, and Jeffrey L. Ruhl.

              The following men were issued licenses: Thomas A. Pollock, Charles E. Cole, David N. Heineman, and Mark L. Morrison.

              Jonathon W. Arnold and Ronald K. Denlinger were recommended to the Committee on Credentials for ordination examination.

              An orientation seminar was conducted for men under our care and pastors, June 3-6, 1996. On Tuesday, Dr. Craig Garriott and Thurman Williams of Baltimore, led a seminar entitled, "The Nature of Evangelism: Growing Reconciled Communities."

              An orientation seminar will be held June 2-5, 1997, for men under our care. On Tuesday, June 3, Dr. Haddon Robinson of Gordon Conwell Seminary will be joining us to present a seminar on preaching. All men serving in the Bible Fellowship Church are invited to attend and to bring other pastors from your community.
