Report of the

Ministerial Candidate Committee

              The Ministerial Candidate Committee met ten times in the last conference year to conduct its business and held one special meeting in conjunction with the Committee on Credentials.

              The following men were interviewed: Charles W. Holt, Ronald R. Vining, Glenn O. Hulburt, David N. Heineman, Vinton A. N. Upham, J. Mark McCreary, Thomas J. Beil, Ebrane' Cadet, Willis I. Dowling, Jacob J. Susek, Jr., Jonathan P. Tait, Robert A. Andrews, Jim D. Head, and Clyde D. Bomgardner, Jr.

              David N. Heineman and Brian H. Cooper were approved as probationers eligible to receive a call.

              Richard A. Moyer and Brian H. Cooper were issued licenses.

              The following were recommended to the Committee on Credentials for ordination examination: J. Mark McCreary, Dennis J. Lawrence, Thomas J. Beil, Jacob J. Susek, Jr., Jonathan P. Tait, and Jim D. Head.

              An orientation seminar was held June 5-8, 1995. During that seminar, Dr. Harold Burchett presented a seminar entitled, "One to One Discipleship: Discipleship that Counts." This year's seminar will be held June 3-6, 1996 at Calvary Bible Fellowship Church in Coopersburg. On Tuesday, June 4, a pastoral theology seminar will be held. The speaker will be Dr. Craig Garriott, of Baltimore, MD. The topic is: "The Nature of Evangelism: Growing Reconciled Communities."
