Report of the

Ministerial Convention Committee

                  The annual Ministerial Convention of the Bible Fellowship Church was held Tuesday, April 30 through Wednesday, May 1. 1991. The Convention was held at Pinebrook Bible Conference. In addition, the Ministers' Wives Fellowship coordinated its meetings with the convention.

                  The theme of the 1991 Ministerial Convention was "Sharpening Your People Skills." The speaker was Roger E. Williams, Executive Director of America's Keswick, Whiting, New Jersey. The Convention was attended by 102 of our BFC pastors, missionaries and their wives.

                  At the close of the convention, G. Wayne Clapier, gave a devotional message and the Convention attendees celebrated the Lord's Supper together.

                  At the annual business meeting of the Ministerial Convention the following men were elected to a two-year term of service: Carl C. Cassel, Randall A. Grossman, and Gilbert J. Vining. Gregory A. Uhrich was elected to a one-year term, replacing Brent E. Robinson. Bryon Widger, outgoing Chairman, called an organizational meeting and the following officers were elected:

         The 1992 Convention will be held May 5 & 6, 1992 at Pinebrook Bible Conference. The purpose of the Ministerial Convention of the Bible Fellowship Church is to provide an annual educational experience for the improvement of the ministerial skills of the pastors in the Bible Fellowship Church; to provide a time of spiritual renewal and physical and emotional refreshment; to promote fellowship and unity among the pastors and their wives.

         The speaker for the '92 Convention will be Mr. Jerry Bridges of the Navigators. Jerry Bridges, author of The Pursuit of Holiness, will be speaking on the topic of "Living by Grace".

         The Ministerial Convention Committee recommends the adoption of the following:

RESOLVED, that we recommend that each church pay for its Pastor(s) and wife(s) to attend the 1992 Ministerial Convention of the Bible Fellowship Church.
